We brought our 11 year old daughter that loves history to this museum and she loved it. She was able to do a scavenger hunt which made her really enjoy the experience. The museum is worth checking out plus it's FREE.

My grandson and I visited here recently, and we enjoyed it thoroughly. This museum (no admission charge) has one of the best weapons and uniform displays we have ever seen. Dating back to the 1600s! All displays are tastefully done, and arranged and catalogued so...More

South Carolina Military Museum has been a wonderful museum worth seeing. It has got lot of equipments which have been used by the military in the past. I recommend tourists to visit the museum.

The museum is well organized really nothing else to add to the other positive reviews. There is no admission fee. It's off the road a little so don't expect to see it as you drive by.

I was especially amazed at the weapon/gun collections...some I'd never... ever... seen before! This is truly Smithsonian quality...More
