The riverfront park is a great area for walks, relaxing and working our. Miles of trails and a weight training area with machines that use your body weight as the resistance. Good views of the river.

We stopped here to stretch our legs and enjoy a snack. What a lovely place to walk. There were signs posted about tiger lilies but we did not see any. Great historic site full of interesting information. Restrooms also available.

This is an amazing historical/walking path site! From the information, this facility was built near the confluence of the Broad and Saluda Rivers, in downtown Columbia. The original hydroelectric generating station is still there, (not operational) open for viewing. Leading from the generating station is...More

I love to run here and always feel safe because there are so many people around. It's beautiful and has places to sit on the side of the trail to enjoy the view.

Just enough breeze and plenty of sunshine. There were hundreds of turtles sunning themselves. I couldn't believe how big some of them were. There was a man sitting in a hammock hung from a tree and I thought to myself man he's got the right...More

The Canal and Riverfront is a great place to go for a run. Also, it was nice to go and see the Canal and sit a reflect.
