We regularly attend the SC Philharmonic but have been to many other events at the Koger Center. The auditorium has great acoustics and the view of the stage is good from almost any of the seats. The only negative is the seating arrangement with no center isle so you are crawling by people or they are crawling by you. A... More

First time going to a ballet and being at the Kroger center. Im pretty sure that the set up for seating is a fire hazard. We were seated towards the front in row H, seats 3-4 and the only way in and out was on either end. There had to have been about 40 seats or so, and the further... More

Horrible Venue - - seating too close together and in long continuous rows where strangers crawl over you just to get out to go to restroom - - terrible parking with long walk to entrance . . . Not impressed by this venue at all!!!

Our party of three enjoyed a superb performance of the traveling Broadway show "Sister Act" at the Koger Center. The acoustics are very good, & the concert hall is clean & well managed. My only complaints are the lack of good parking since most people have to park across the way in a large parking garage, making the exit a... More

This is a GREAT VENUE for ARTS performances! I want them to bring back the Senegalese Ballet Troupe they hosted years back...this was the first time that I've stood and danced at a ballet performances.

They have the best ballets in towns . dress is casual to formal. kid friendly. close parking lot and drop off area. long lines for bathrooms before and at breaks. orchestra is my fave. hard to see if u need the restroom during show time so take a small flashlight to shine on floor. snacks are not allowed inside. eat... I have attended a lot of events here: ballets, musical events, lectures. It has good acoustics, comfortable seating, good view of the stage, good lighting, etc. The reason I didn't call it "excellent" is that there is an ongoing problem with parking. There used to be a large parking area, but the University has kept building it up, so there... More

The Koger Center is clean, well layed-out and the sound quality is wonderful. The only negative is the lack of near-by parking.

In 1989 we attended the Koger Center’s inaugural concert, which featured the London Philharmonic Orchestra (flown in at University expense). Since then we’ve attended dozens of performances at the Koger, most recently Memphis, the Million Dollar Quartet, Jersey Boys, and (in April) the Addams Family. The Koger’s relatively small size and excellent acoustics make it a fine venue for performances... More
