Billed as the "hip" neighborhood in Columbia, Five Points has almost no utility and has likely never seen the wet side of a pressure washer. There are a few gems: Gourmet Shoppe and Sushi Yoshi, but even these can't shake the dive atmosphere Five Points...More

Every time we go it's over crowded and finding a parking spot can take forever. None of the restaurants or bars have parking lots, it's all paid street parking. The restaurants are OK but the prices down there are more than you'd pay anywhere else...More

This area is OK for shopping and dining. My wife and I walked it and stopped in a few stores, had coffee at Drip and dinner at Yesterday's. It's definitely student-oriented; Drip was filled with nothing but students except for us. I imagine any city...More

Was hoping for some shopping and people watching. Very quiet on Sunday morning. Would recommend another day or at least later in the day.

There are some good restaurants/cafes and a Food Lion in Five Points, but you must exercise caution as there are quite a few hostile people with bad intentions towards patrons. Just got accosted by one, at 6 PM, while waiting at the main stop in...More

There were some times when I was younger than people would talk about Five Points all the time like it was the holy grail of places to visit in Columbia. It is not! I've visited on several occasions before, to attend various events or walk...More

We love to go to Five Points for lunch as well as to walk around and see all of the little shops. Parking is not easy during the week, but we went on a Saturday and found parking on the street. We started with lunch...More
