Pee Dee State Park is one of the most relaxing times I have had since walking the MTS trail. There is so much to see and the trails are well marked

This is a nice, small park with a small lake. However, during our visit there wasn't a significant amount of water in the lake, due to damage from Hurricane Matthew in October, 2016. The park has a nice picnic shelter and a small boardwalk as...More

I love this state park bathroom is clean. Camp sites are clean. Some sites are small and not very level. Will be glad when the Lake Dam is repaired so we have water to fish in after work.

We wanted a safe place to take our Austrian Shepherd for her first camping trip. The park is safe and the other campers were friendly. No swimming, but the lake is good for fishing and canoes/kayaks. It was a terrific weekend get-away!

I would have rated this a 4, but the kids actually want to come back and camp (they liked playing with the lizards in the park plus viewing tiny frogs at the Beaver Dam trail). It is probably the most remote SC state park from...More

I have to start off by saying I'm a big fan of our state parks...so I'm a little biased. We camped here for a weekend in our 5th wheel. The campground is adjacent to the lake providing for some beautiful camping spots. Ours was site...More
