We went here today. It was our first time kayaking so we opted for a guided tour. Lindsey was very nice and knowledgeable about the area and wildlife, especially birds. It was reasonably priced. We didn't see much wildlife but that's out of their control. She did go a bit fast for us but that could be because we are... More

Rented a kayak for 4 hours. Price was good and equipment was in good shape. Was able to go a pretty good distance into a few channels and made it back with plenty of time to spare. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Had a great time on our boat tour at sunset. Edistow watersports staff does a great job and we'd like to especially thank Jackie for her help in the store. See you next year!

We did the kayak tour up the river. I thought there would be more to look at besides grass. We went down the river and then turned around and went back up. Fun because we were with family but I have been on better ones. Tour guide chick was very good though.

We headed out at 2pm for a 3 hour 'In Shore' charter and had a GREAT time on the boat. The waves were pretty choppy (4'+) but we'd all taken Dramamine ahead of time just to be safe, so there were no issues from sea sickness. We got a great view of Edisto Beach from the ocean side, and once... More

During our stay in May, we decided to go on a sunset tour. Our Captain was very knowledgeable of the area and he made sure that we had the best views of the sunset. We had such a good time on that trip that we decided to try another one of their tours – a trip to Otter Island. We... More

Not a marine life tour... more landmarks and stories. Not for children (our guide said they were a distraction ) ... after paying $300 we were treated rudely by a guide who thought his historical trivia was more important than our grandchildren ...very disappointed to be treated this way on our vacation. I thought we paid for a family friendly... More

2nd year to kayak with them. Great experience. Kip was a first time guide and did a great job informing and entertaining. Good pace to cover a significant area within 2 hours allotted. Didn't see as much marine life this year as we did last year but that is the luck of the draw. Good equipment and good people!

We took the Sunset Dolphin Cruise. It left the Pressley Marina in plenty of time to take a 11/2 hour plus tour before Sunset. We saw Dolphins and lots of Birds. Capt Moose was very knowledgeable and entertaining! He gave us an extensive history lesson of the Plantations and the last 100 years of Edisto. We had the spacious boat... More

If there's more than 3 people, bring cushions to make it enjoyable. There were 5 of us which meant that 2 of us sat on the very hard bow. The day was choppy and we bounced around like a bunch of corks. So much slamming on the bow that I bruised my tailbone and was sore for days (then I... More
