While visiting Charleston for a wedding, I wanted to find an activity that would be interesting for everyone in our group and this was perfect! Captain Phil was an EXCELLENT tour guide and had so much information about the ecology, history and local folk lore we were entertained the whole boat ride. My mother has a hard time walking long... Me and my two sisters did a memorial for our MOM at sea. Captain Phil was so cool he song his rap song about hurricane hugo. fawless lyrics. We nick name him the rappn cappn. Show the dance moves for the different types of grass in the marsh. Awesome experience. Thanks

If you are looking for a peaceful small boat tour of the salt marshes I highly recommend Tideline tours. We did the morning 2 hour salt marsh tour and saw many Dolphins, learned about the salt marshes and spent some time on a Morris Island. Lots of shells on Morris island and a nice view of the lighthouse.

Weatherly, a native of the area, was our captain. She was fun and knowledgeable of the history of the area as well as its wildlife. We immediately saw dolphins after leaving the dock, as well as throughout the 2-hour tour. We spent a half hour of the tour walking on Morris Island and got a great view of the lighthouse.... More

Weatherly is fantastic. She is pleasant and knowledgeable. She had the answers to our questions and drove the boat right up to the oysters. We had a wonderful experience at the Morris Lighthouse. I would recommend her trip to anyone! This is definitely a trip out of the way from a busy tourist venue!

Excellent tour of the saltwater marshes and beaches by the harbor lighthouse. Captain Phil was very knowledgeable about animals and plants of the area, as well as history and local lore. He kept us safe, and maneuvered skillfully through the channels. I would highly recommend this tour for young and old!

Captain Phil combined interesting history, flora/fauna information, and folk lore while guiding the boat through the salt marshes. Loved it! Add to that, we saw dolphins, birds, ship wrecks and light houses and had time to spend time walking on the beach of a small island mid-way during the trip. Highly recommended. Worth every penny. Recommendations: Look through the photos... More

My husband and I took Tideline Tours' Sunset Cruise and had such a great time. The weather was perfect (though if you're speeding along in the boat, you may get chilly) and the sunset was beautiful. We saw a good number of dolphins, and stopped several times to watch them swim. Captain Phil gave us tons of information - history,... More

The boat tour was a fun and very educational!! Our group included six adults and six children. Captain Phil is so engaging, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the local ecosystem and "fun facts". The kids loved the spartina alterniflora lesson and the stop on Morris Island. Bonus - we saw three dolphins!! Highly recommend this tour.
