I learned a lot about the Kaminski family and the history behind the house. It was very interesting. I loved the story about the infamous diamond broach and the tea cart. It was a very interesting house to see. The grounds are beautiful, too.

Our tour guide was phenomenal! The wealth of knowledge she shared and her passion for the history was amazing. She engaged our entire family, three to 73. This tour is a must if you're visiting Georgetown.

We came upon the house as we walked on the riverfront path and were immediately intrigued! After popping into the gift shop where the tickets are sold, we decided we would join the next tour. There were only 4 of us on the tour, which...More

We loved our visit to historical Georgetown. The antiques in the Kaminski House are beautiful and the stories about the history of this low-country town are very interesting. Georgetown is definitely more than just an industrial town.

When we took this tour we got the added bonus of seeing about a dozen antique wedding dresses on display for a special event. Our guide was knowledgable and friendly and filled with interesting information. The grounds are lovely as well.

We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit to the Kaminski House Museum. The wedding dresses are a temporary loan exhibition and will be on display until the end of May.

The house was amazing & informative. The tour guide was a jerk. We asked one question & he treated us like we were idiots. Needless to say, no one else asked anymore questions. He is the reason we didn’t give a better review.

We spent the day in Georgetown, SC and had a fascinating tour of The Kaminski House. Susan, our tour guide, was an excellent and well-informed docent and clearly enjoyed telling us about the people, the House, and the furniture! A well spent hour+.

We are glad to hear that you had a good visit to Georgetown and to the Kaminski House Museum. The joggling board is a unique Lowcountry item and we hope that you got an opportunity to test it out!

The Kaminski House Museum has beautiful gardens with mature live oak trees high on a bluff overlooking the water. It is located at the southern end of the Harborwalk boardwalk. Very nice gem and great photo spot.
