We love to tour old homes, especially down South, and took the tour while we were in Georgetown. Very interesting. Nice that the time frame is the 1940's - 1960's--a little different from all the civil war sites we usually tour. The tour guide was...More

We enjoyed our tour of the Kaminski house. The house is full of beautiful antiques and the tour guide provides some good history about the house, furniture, owners, and Georgetown.

We went to the gift shop to purchase tickets and the lady in the shop was actually the guide for touring the home. She guided us through and gave us the history of the house. One nice feature is that there are period-appropriate dresses on...More

Thank you for your review. We are glad to hear that your enjoyed your visit to the Kaminski House. The period dresses are a temporary exhibition and are loaned to us by a local collector. They are indeed a wonderful addition to the house.

Interesting tour that we were told about during a city tour. Thought it would be more about the old south, but an interesting story of the homeowners family. Nicely kept and out tour guide was very friendly and informative.

Decided to tour Georgetown instead of Charleston for the umpteenth time. Got a very nice tour of the Kaminsky property by well informed guides. Lasts about an hour and you are treated to a glimpse of days gone by. Highly recommend this tour.

Thank you for leaving a review of your tour of the museum. Please accept our apologies for the large size of your group. As you mentioned, one of our volunteer docents called in sick we were not able to find a substitute on short notice.

This is where my husband and I was married on Oct.1,1995. It was gorgeous. Married tight in front of water fountain. Had our reception on the grounds. A Beautiful Home to visit and a big part of our History.
