First visit to Greenville and my friend took me to this museum. Enjoyed the permanent exhibits, but the other exhibits of Ansel Adams and Dr. Seuss were phenomenal! And all for a $6 adult admission? Can't beat that!

We visited the Upcountry History Museum to see the Dr. Seuss exhibit, but I must admit that the museum offered much more. There was an Ansel Adams exhibit and an interesting exhibit of Desert Storm paintings and artifacts. Because of the museum closing time we...More

We stopped by to see the museum, and it did not disappoint. The exhibits on the prehistory and history of the region were quite well-done. The traveling exhibit of Dr. Seuss colorful art was informative about the author and his little-known early works. Likewise, the...More

Would have been more interesting had we been from SC. We didn't know any of the people or history. It was a good value.

The parking is right behind the building, not far from the entrance. I can't say for sure about the handicap parking. I would presume there is a requirement for a couple of spaces, though.
