The museum has an impressive and large collection of works by the Wyeth family and it offers insight into this artistic family. Very friendly staff. We were greeted a a gentleman who told us where everything was located and made us feel very welcome.More

You know if a community values art if the community makes art available to everyone. The Greenville County Museum of Art is free. Free, free, free. It is free! And amazing.

I very much enjoyed this museum. I was extremely moved by the Dave the Potter exhibit. The place was small and I could have spent more time if there were more to see; however, what was there was a wonderful experience.

We are art junkies and Wyeth fans to boot, having visited their permanent collections in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania and the Farnsworth in Maine. So, it was a no-brainer to detour a few minutes off our Rt. 85 trek and visit this gem of a museum....More
