It's a sunny, warm day here in Harbour Town. I was looking forward to an afternoon sail. It didn't seem all that windy in the Harbour. But when we got out, I realized that it was very windy. The captain was Peter. On many occasions during the cruise, the boat leaned so far on one side that passengers were scrambling... More

We took Spirit of Harbor Town on a cruise to Savannah from Hilton Head. It was about an hour and a half. The scenery was beautiful and we saw several Dolphins along the way. There is a snack bar onboard, offering candy, crackers, chips and such. They also have a pretty good cash bar. We had a discount coupon, so... More

My husband and I decided on a dolphin cruise. The boat was great with lots of chairs and tables to make you comfortable. The service was good, but the bar did not have any white wine. We saw lots of dolphins in multiple locations and the captain was very knowledgable and kept us entertained throughout the trip. We would have... More

Went on the dolphin cruise, while on our annual ladies' get-away. One of our gals gets a little motion-sick, and almost opted out. Prior to boarding, she spoke to the captain. He assured her the cruise would be smooth (it was). Crew-members Ali and Lauren did a great job at making everyone feel welcome. We bought our photo as a... More

This was our first voyage on an actual shrimp boat and a real learning experience. Nate explained how the shrimp were caught by the net and how the design of the various parts of the net avoid catching bycatch and turtles. The crew successfully caught some shrimp and some other interesting fish. The entire catch was presented on a table for... More

As a birthday treat for her, I took my partner on a dinner cruise off the coast of Hilton Head Island. We expected a quiet, romantic dinner with candlelight and music. But instead, we got corralled into a serving line of a dinner buffet amid some rather loud patrons celebrating a birthday onboard. The saving grace of the night was... More

What an absolute beautiful Hilton Head Day for a water excursion. After many cold and gray days, this was the day to get out and enjoy the beautiful waters surrounding Hilton Head Island. The Captain and the crew were very knowledgeable and friendly. The 90 minute cruise was very educational with a few Dolphin sightings. Our Captain shared interesting facts... More

We went on the Stars and Stripes sailboat, thinking we were going to sail. We floated for 90 minutes in the middle of the sound. We just sat there on our " sit upons" ( i.e. Assigned seat cushions) It was quite boring. The staff was nice, allowing volunteers to help with the sails/ driving. They give you beers for... More

A group of 12 of us chartered the Mystique for a sunset dolphin cruise and we couldn't have asked for a better experience (unless Vagabond could control the weather 😉). We even had a large age range from2-70 years old. They were so nice, even letting our 2yr old niece "drive" the boat. The boat was impeccable and had the... More

We totally enjoyed this cruise from Hilton Head to Savannah. The scenery was gorgeous and cruising was definitely more relaxing than driving. However, it was also much more expensive than driving.
