Been here before, seems like it's still recovering a bit from the hurricane. It is a nice place to walk around and spend an hour or two. Come early though because it has limited shade and can get hot.

This is a must do for those traveling with children (and those without). The museum has a nice children's play area loaded with puzzles. My son kept talking about playing in the museum. The walking trail was educational and interesting. The butterfly enclosure was the...More

I highly recommend checking out the schedule of tours, classes, critter meet and greets, programs, etc. before your trip. Most require reservations. We did not do a straight-up visit to the museum itself, but we did the Segway tour on the museum grounds (FABULOUS) and...More

Most of the site is outdoors. The main museum is indoors but several of the exhibits are outdoors.
Has any one done the Dolphin and Nature Cruise? What was your experience?

We did a 6:30 kayak tour and we did see a couple of dolphins. You might have better luck on the cruise. I still throughly enjoyed they experience we had.
Are the specific tours worth the money and which ones are better than others? Will be going sometime the week of March 7.
