If you are not staying at a hotel property on the beach or a rental home within walking distance, this is a good option. Paid parking, restroom facilities and lifeguards. Limited parking but there are other public beaches nearby.

Spent the day here on 9/04/2017 while on a 9 day business trip to Bluffton. If one doesn't arrive before 9am, there's no parking spaces left for this public beach and one has to choose another location. Fee is $1 an hour for a car/van/truck...More

On opposite side of island from Caligny but just as perfect for family fun. Lots of hard packed sand, loose sand and that terrific gradually sloped beach that allows for getting out in the waves without getting in deep.

Nice set up with good parking, bathrooms and pet friendly. Bring a tent or umbrella. Also bring you a cooler with snacks and drinks as there are no close places to buy food. Just a great place to relax.

Brown gray sand that is hard and smooth you can ride a bike on us nice. We arrived around 12 and no chairs to rent because they were already out was not good. Don't like the idea that the park is closed at 9 pm...More

Just a short walk to the beach from the parking and has restrooms and sand showers but fills up quickly during the season - so plan a head and bring your quarters for parking! Remember you sun screen lotion!!!

Hi Pam, Sorry but there is no horse back riding on Folly Field beach. As Kevin F mentioned there is a stables called Lawtons in Sea Pines (843- 671-2586) and that is a really beautiful facility.
