While in Charleston We decided to check out this tree, Oh My it was breathtaking !! I am so glad we went ~ the tree is huge and something that should be seen !!! Not much else to see, there is a small gift shop, picnic tables if you wanted to bring a lunch !! So glad we went !

It's impressive to see this tree that is hundreds of years old. However, it's odd to k ow that trees limbs grow beyond a weight that they can support. This tree harkened to Joyce Kilmer's poetry . This tree truly lifts its branches to God! It is a quiet, peaceful place calling the visitor into the majesty and glory of His great creation!! It is well worth the trip!

This was a side trip while driving from Florida to DC and can I say that if you are ever within 50 miles of it you should make a stop! The tree is absolutely breathtaking! There is no admission fee and plenty... More

Must see one of God's creations in person to appreciate this enormous oak tree. This is free to the public, but it is gated and there are hours of operation in which to visit.

A tree that must be seen to be believed! The branches are thicker than most regular tree trunks. A true beauty of nature!
