We were here to pick up our Segway tour. A beautiful, clean and safe park. Would love to visit here again when we have more time.

We enjoy going out on the beach here. You don't have the huge crowds found in Myrtle. The shelter areas are very nice and the gift shop/restroom areas are as well.

Great place to use an inflatable boat. Sea a little too rough for the kayak. We love the state park. Got to see alligators on the inlet side of the park and decided, not to kayak in that section. If you need time away from...More

Yes it would be pretty bad to deal with tent camping at Huntington Beach State Park during the summer. I have done it years ago and it was bad. The only way to manage is to at least have a fan in your tent.

Most of the sites are far away from trash area. Pump out is outside campground area. We have stayed in many sites. None of them are bad.

No camping on the beach but the sites are under a 1/2 mile to the ocean. Enjoy.
