Have visited with artist friends who had an exhibit and several other times. The artwork is exhibited beautifully in this historic house.

I have attended two showings at the Burroughs and Chapin Art Museum and they both were very professionally run. The event coordinator did a fine job in arranging the displays and spread out the areas where many would congregate at one time, such as a bar. This is definitely a great way to spend a hot afternoon or a cool... More

A great find by the beach. Wonderful exhibits. A fabulous gift shop too! The museum is free but they ask for a small donation.

We always make it a point to visit this delightful museum. It is the only art museum in Myrtle Beach that offers 11 galleries that change exhibitions throughout the year. They always seem to have such interesting exhibitions, and this time was no different. Celia Pearson’s Layerings – A Glimpse of Southeast Asia. Ms. Pearson’s brings you photographs of the... More

Definitely worth a visit. We went on a rainy day and had a great time. Staff are friendly and the exhibits are very exciting.

I love this museum by the sea. What's there not to like? They ask for a donation at the door. It's a beautiful get away.

This museum has a very nice collection of water color. Most interesting to us however, was a display by Logan Woodle. He displays his work through his eyes as a child growing up not in paintings but another form. I won't give it away so you have to go and see. Looking for something different to do among the beaches... More

Entry fee is by donation in front lobby. This provides a nice variety of artwork over two floors (elevator in building). There is also a nice little gift shop.

Though small (just 2 floors) this museum had a wonderful variety of media. The photography exhibit (Cambodia/Vietnam) was stunning. The sunroom was lovely and offered tea and cookies. There is no admission fee. There is an elevator if needed.
