There is a public bathroom facility on the dry side of the street, however we prefer to use the ones at the Ferris wheel since they are reasonably maintained. They also service the ajoining restaurant.
Which hotels/resorts are either on the boardwalk or close to it?

The boardwalk is 1.2 miles running from 3rd ave south to 15th ave north. Oceanfront hotels on Ocean Blvd. south will have odd street numbers and Ocean Blvd. north will have even street numbers. Check tripadvisor for hotels... More
Is Myrtle Beach bicycle friendly? Do they have dedicated biking lanes? Paved areas? We have bikes but don't know if we should take them.

you can ride on the boardwalk in the off season when it's not that crowded.
