For over two decades Island Green has been a favorite of Myrtle Beach Golfers. Under new local management since January 2012 this 18 hole Facility is best known for its perfectly Manicured champions greens, superbly conditioned Bermuda fairways, and its namesake island green finishing hole. However, the course is not overly difficult, making it enjoyable for all skill levels. This course plays from the champion tees to 6400 yards. From the white tees 6100 yards, and from the gold tees 5640 yards and from the ladies tees 4660.

This place sucks. Won tickets at raffle now I know why, it's the only way they get the public to play. It was so bad I quit. I put a one because there is nothing else. The front 9 was not so bad but the turn really sucks. Don't wast your money or time.

A cow pasture would be a major upgrade! This was an absolute joke, and would easily be in the running for the worst golf course in America! 4.29.2016. Golf course is an absolute disgrace. The fairways and tee boxes are just fields of weeds. They haven't been mowed in well over a week. The greens have no grass on them.... More

I've been playing here on and off since 1995 when the course was 27 holes. Over the years there have been several changes in management. This once beautiful coarse is now a disaster. The fairways are terrible and the greens are anything but green. It sad knowing how this course used to be compared to today. It could be great... More

We played Monday morning December 21. We play many of the lower priced coarses in the Myrtle Beach area, and I have to say this was in the worst shape of all of them. The biggest problem was trying to find our balls on some of the fairways because so many piles of leaves were on the fairway. We actually... More

I had a Myrtle Beach Dealsaver coupon and should have guessed it was too good to be true. This place was just awful and should not be charging more than 10.00 per round!

we have played about 25 courses in Myrtle Beach and this was the worst ever. The greens were in horrible condition, the tee boxes almost bare with no grass, fairways were cow pastures. No ranger to speed up play,no drink carts like other area courses and no bathrooms on the course.

I played the course on 7/29/14 and the greens were terrible. They have taken hole cuts from the little bit of good grass from the greens and placed them around the dirt spots on the green. This is the worst course I've ever played. The Par 3 courses in the area looked like TPC courses compared to this course. SPEND... More

We didn't play the course because from what has been stated the homes are very close to the course with minimal buffer trees. Unfortunately for me, I'm not very good and didn't feel like bringing my check book for a broken window. So, on advice from someone, we hit the restaurant bar area. On this day, Wednesday, they had $.35... More

It is an very short course, made for the many seniors that play it. The majority of the par 4's I was hitting driver PW. The course is in decent shape and for the price it is a good deal.
