It looks like a much needed face lift is place. There are a few nicer shops, but most of the shops are very touristy, like tacky tee-shirt and souvenir shops. Overall it looks and feels very tired, but I saw signs of serious renovations in...More

Barefoot Landing was once a very nice place for dining, shopping or simply walking around. After visiting the site this past October, I can tell you that it is no longer worth the visit. There are so many closed restaurants and stores. Do not waste...More

We visited in November so it was pretty empty when we walked around but everything was still open. I perfected barefoot landing verses boardwalk at the beach. I️ found it to have more local shops and i just likes the vibe better.

I am not sure, our summer is really hot and humid. I have not seen any dogs there. It may be up to the individual shop owner.

I consider this more shopping and dining area. There are beach areas within driving distance.
