Visited Edisto Memorial Gardens on 06/13/18. Nice Veteran's Memorial @ the entrance to the park. Many rose bushes in the park. The rose fragrance is heavenly! Most of the roses have already bloomed but there are still plenty of blooms to enjoy... There is also...More

May is one of the BEST places to visit while in the Orangeburg, South Carolina area. The roses are in FULL BLOOM and a SPECTACULAR view of the FAMOUS Black Edisto River. Even though I was born and raised in Orangeburg, South Carolina, I still...More

When the roses are in bloom this garden is breathtaking. The azaleas are very pretty in the spring. There is a boardwalk through the swamp along the black water river. At Christmas there is a small drive through display.

We took our grandchildren through the gardens at Christmas and they had a great time. The lights are always pretty impressive and they love walking through the paths and playing with the lights. It's a hot chocolate/Children's walk kind of night and we enjoy it...More

I'm not a big flower person and wasn't impressed with the garden portion but the trails and secluded seating makes a peaceful afternoon.

One of the best Christmas Light displays I have seen. You have the ability to drive through the display in your car or walk through it.

The gardens are beautiful, but this time of year they become alive with lights. This is both a short driving tour and a walking tour. You can park in any number of convenient parking lots. The Children's Walking Garden is perfect. There are several interactive...More

We happened to be in Orangeburg and googled "Christmas lights in Orangeburg" and found this. It took us around 10 minutes to drive through. There was an option to get out and walk but we didn't take it. Looks neat though!

More rose bushes than my wife and I expected. Even though it was getting to be the end of the rose season, there still were plenty of bushes in bloom. There also are some nice walking paths.

Yes, dogs are allowed as long as you clean up after them. You would need to keep them leashed because it is an open park near Hwy. 301 which is very busy.

Some azaleas are about ready to bloom. Unfortunately there was a frost two days ago and the forecast has three days of freezing weather later this week. That may push back some of the blooms. Some of the rose varieties bloom... More
