At first glance, Woodburn Plantation doesn't look like it's 180 years old. It looks like a house that belongs on Bay Street in Charleston, South Carolina, overlooking the harbor and Fort Sumter. But Woodburn is located at 130 History Lane, just off US 76, near...More

Woodburn Plantation is a local gem, carefully tended by the Pendleton District Historical Foundation. On this visit, Woodburn was hosting a Farm Day. There were house tours, wagon rides, local traditional craft demonstrations, animals, children's crafts, antique farm equipment and refreshments. A delightful day!

We visit the Woodburn Plantation with our school. It's always fun and educational for the kids with role playing and story telling. There's lots to explore. Never gets old no matter how many times we visit. Good clean safe fun for singles, couples and families.

The barn made a beautiful background for my nephew's wedding ceremony! The reception was also held there. The brick patio in front of the house made a great dance floor for the couple's 1st dance, the traditional wedding events and plenty of room for the...More

First, this is not a fancy, over-the-top plantation house. Go somewhere else if you are looking for that. This home is really a very wealthy and influential man's farmhouse. I am not taking anything away from how enjoyable the home was but you can see...More

Have been to this home a few times for weddings, but had not taken a tour of the home until this past weekend. I love the Victorian carriage house and cabin on the grounds as well. It is the full history of this home that...More
