In Columbia over Easter weekend 2017. Needed some nature therapy and a walk. Our daughter borrowed a friend's dog, Marley to accompany. It was lovely. Unsure where we started - there was a parking lot, a gazebo. Lovely view of the river and the city. Followed a paved path in one direction only. Mostly level, plenty of shade and benches... More

The work done to develop this walkway and maintain it following devastating flooding has delivers an amazing experience in Columbia.

This walk is setup very nice. There is an exercise area at the beginning if you are so inclined. History markers located at many points of interest. Great running path. There are no food places along the way and the drink vending machines were sold out. Bring your own snacks and water. Interesting fact is that many Irish Americans who... More

The Riverwalk is an absolutely beautiful place to visit. There are walking paths that one can simply just enjoy the outside and being amongst nature.

My wife and I came here for an afternoon to relax. It is a beautiful place and we can't wait to go back. A great place for a picnic or take the grand children.

Can't beat this hike along the Saluda River. One the few urban white water rivers in America. You also get to pass under the historic Gervais Street Bridge. Some prety good restaurants a short walk off the path.

The riverwalk trail follows the West Columbia side of the Congaree river. It offers a relaxing easy walk for all ages & dogs!! If you get the chance to cross the bridge and park in the parking lot on the Gervais/Columbia side at sunset you can catch a breathtaking sight. Especially if it's after a good rain.

The Riverwalk is a great place to go to enjoy nature. A very serene place to be. The environment is peaceful and you can experience nature at its best. There are excellent views along The Riverwalk. Exercising is an enjoyable experience as you take in the great views.
