If you’re a Frank Lloyd Wright fan, you take the opportunity to see as many of his designs as you can. Auldbrass is one of them and it is truly one-of-a-kind. The only farm he ever designed and we drove down from Rochester, NY to enjoy it. We’ve visited perhaps a dozen of his designs, including one around the corner... More

We saw Auldbrass on a morning news show, and knew we had to go. A true vision. FLW never ceases to amaze. A nod to Joel Silver for not only restoring this property, but for sharing such a personal part of his life. You are able to walk through a generous amount of the house and outbuildings. Booties required! Walking... More

What an incredible property! What Mr. Silver has done to restore this architectural gem is phenomenal. So glad he and his family opens it to the public on occasion, so others can admire this home. Tickets are pricey, but go to a great cause. Highly recommend touring the home and property. It is truly stunning. Next tour isn't until 2017... More

It's open every two years so mark your calendar now for 2017. It is a fantastic site and SO worth traveling to see it. Plan on 4 hours at the site, including about 1 hour waiting to tour the main house. We did not do the optional lunch. Parking is along the street and they offered free rides on golf... More

Thanks to Joel Silver for allowing the public access to this FLW gem every 2 years. It is definitely worth planning ahead to have the privilege of seeing the amazing reconstruction that has been done to the property. Perservation and reconstruction are truly a gift to the community. The property is not a tourist attraction and it is not set... More

Another unbelievable Frank Lloyd Wright property. Bought for a song some 20 plus years ago, but upwards of 20 million put into it to make it outstanding.

Auldbrass is a truly creative work of art. What a wonderful experience it must have been to create the different buildings with such freedom of expression. Definitely recommend getting tickets to view the Plantation. It's only open for a few days every other year. Be sure to get on your computer as soon as the tickets go on sale. They... More

I had the same exact problem trying to book tickets. At one point I accessed an order page but when I went to enter the quantity of tickets (2) I received someone else's Checkout page. Their order was for $2,000 so you know that was for over 150 tickets. I was told they sold out 30 min after they began... More

I set my alarm for 12:00 am on 8/17/15 to try and purchase tickets for the tour to no avail and then again at 3:00 am and then tried again at 6:00 am then tried again at 9:00 am - then every 10 minutes throughout the day! The website never offered tickets for sale! I kept thinking that's strange but... More

Auldbrass Plantation is open to the public only every other year and tickets went on sale supposedly by phone and on line today. Due to "technical difficulties", the Internet did not work all day. I began calling every few minutes from 9 to 4:15--almost 50 times--and got a busy signal every time. At the end of the day, a message... More
