The hotel is owned by Kevin Costner who frequents it regularly when he's around. It has a casino downstairs with bar and upstairs there are loads of movie pieces belonging to Kevin, incl a video of him singing in the bar. Old wooden building, beautiful...More

Yes this is kevin costners place it also has a small casino, bar/grill and a restaurant on the 3rd floor. (one of the few buildings to have 3 floors) the costumes are neat to see the food was good the casino well was a casino....More

It's an OK place to see. More or less a tourist place. Not sure I'd go out of my way. We preferred to go down the street for lunch where it livelier.

We were on a treasure hunt, an activity planned by our bicycling tour guide. One clue was to "find something Kevin Kostner" in Deadwood. The Midnight Star is the place. Posters, clothing, scenes from filming. Enough to keep one busy for at least an hour....More

It's so nice when you get fun dealers that will talk with you and share things with you. A small quaint place with a very friendly atmosphere. We all four had a great time.
