Had a wonderful short trip to Deadwood. Old buildings mixed with new, made to look old...it all fits. Many historic and informational plaques and statues to help you understand the town.

Main Street is about 4 blocks long, filled to the brim with shops, casinos, bars and restaurants. We enjoyed strolling the street and seeing all of the sights. There are staged gunfights several times a day that are fun to watch.

Loved walking around town....in the afternoons the community had a reenactment of a shoot out. We were there over July 4th and loved the hometown parade.
