Deadwood Information Center is a good source of information. They really have it. Unfortunately the service the day we visited was quite slow and we didn't quite get the answers to our questions.

Stopped in there one morning and received a lot of brochures, information and directions for all the things to do in town. Walked from our hotel.

We loved the setting of the visitors center and looked around a bit before getting help. The staff were knowledgeable and easy to work with. We were able to select the few things we could accomplish during our short visit. Armed with well marked maps and good advice we enjoyed our day in Deadwood. Would like to return - there... More

Very helpful staff. Lots of information on various attractions. Additionally, helpful on knowing what to group together and fit into the time you have. Be sure to get free parking for the center.

Very disappointed in the trolley service during Kool Deadwood Nites. The schedule needs to be reviewed and extra drivers and buses need to be assigned thus weekend that are dedicated to lodging. Overpacked trolleys with angry drivers took the fun out of the weekend.

We stopped here to find out information about the area and discovered so much more. One it is nice on a hot day as the air conditioning was blasting. Two there are many brochures about the area and activities offered. There is also a small museum offering information about the history of the area. I only wish we had of... More

The Visitor's Bureau in Deadwood SD booked for us tours with Black Hills Adventure and we disappointed with the company. Poor time planning and we were rushed with a private expensive tour. Do the Buffalo Jeep tour on your own and book a ranger tour. Do Devil's Tour on your won. No need for a guide.

Full of brochures regarding the town and times for the re-enactments; plenty of paid parking available; large bathrooms; exhibits about the train station.
