    Great day out
Have recently visited for the day with family including two youngsters aged 7 and 4. The whole day was lovely. The park itself was clean and very well maintained. There was lots for the younger ones to do especially the Stamp Trail which they thoroughly enjoyed! Highlights included the crazy golf, the maze, Dippy's show, the walk through the woods featuring some wonderful animatronic dinosaurs! All the Crew were great especially Alex who was working at the Raptor Contraptor down at the bottom of the hill. We had a member of our party in a wheelchair and he very sensitively come over and let us know she could go on the ride in her wheelchair. Thank you Alex. Would recommend this place, very good value for money. I'm sure we will return!
Thanks so much for your 5 star review and recent visit to us. We are so pleased you had a ROARR-some day and Alex made it especially memorable! That's so great to see. We hope to see you for more exploring again soon.

    A Great Day Out!
We came here because my son is dinosaur mad! It did not disappoint. The animations were brilliant, the live shows and the fossil finding were brilliant. What we liked was that everything was included in the entry price, no hidden charges anywhere. We will definitely be back. Thank you!
Thanks so much for your 5 star review and recent visit. We are so pleased you had a ROARR-some adventure! We hope to see you again very soon!

    Roarsome Time!
We had a lovely few hours here with our Dino Mad 3 year old. We could have stayed longer but we had to leave to travel home as we had come on our way back from a week away in Great Yarmouth. We thought the park was very well maintained and clean and tidy. We didn’t do much research but we hadn’t realised that quite a few attractions would be closed - perhaps due to the season. However most of what was closed our little boy wasn’t that bothered about anyway. We couldn’t believe there was so many sections and things to do for £9.95 each. Felt it was very well priced with so much to do. Collecting the stamps for the medal at the end was great, kept him searching round for more stampers throughout the park. Love the fact that everything you see in the price, not having to pay extra for additional things. We had a go at crazy golf, walk through valley of the dinosaurs, little walk round the farm and the lost world. Great soft play area also. If we lived nearer I could see this being a place we went more often with his little friends and mums.
Thanks so much for your 5* star review and recent visit to us. We are so glad you had a ROARR-some adventure and your little boy had a great time. We hope to see you for more exploring again in the future!

    Roarsome day out!
We had such a roarsome time! Pricing was reasonable at £15 a ticket. The best part is that everything is included in the price no hidden costs once your inside, rides, high ropes, go carts, pitch and putt and indoor play! We had a full day out as there was so much to do and see, the valley of the dinosaurs is awesome… so many amazing facts and interactive dinosaurs! As we are so local and love visiting we are now debating season passes to visit regularly!
Thanks so much for your ROARR-some review. We are so pleased you had a great time and enjoyed everything our Park has to offer which is included in your entry price, we hope to see you for more exploring again soon!

Great staff, value for money & fantastic day out
We visit dinosaur park at least twice a month due to being annual pass holders. Firstly the annual pass paid for its self within a few weeks as in the summer we visited sometimes twice a week! There’s plenty to do and see - the park is always very clean and the staff are always so happy and helpful! We came to the daytime Christmas event. Firstly the lady in the shop today (9/12) is such a lovely welcoming lady. We’ve been served by her a few times and she always goes above and beyond. Secondly the lady elf in the “craft” section (who said she’d be working the night event too) was very kind, informative & again went above and beyond. She spoke to us about the different events and the differences between the grotto events. From the moment we entered the building she was friendly and warm. There’s also a member of staff who works in the cafes - I’m unsure of his name but he’s served me a few times and always again happy to go the extra mile! Lastly the lady that was in the fish & chips bit - again was so lovely considering she’d probably not seen many people throughout the day! She was so happy and helpful. We thoroughly enjoy Dino park, it’s great value for money and if you plan on going more than 3x in a year deffo invest in a pass! Or go during term time on the cheap days!
Thank you for leaving your 5-star review following your visit. It is great to hear your feedback on our ROARR-some crew, please be assured this will be passed onto the team. We hope to see you for another adventure again soon!

I can't recommend Roar highly enough. I have a disabled son and they are very helpful in adapting the attractions to make them more accessible for him. They are incredibly friendly and have invested significantly in making the park even better.

    GREAT DAY OUT.
Brilliant day out with two two year old girls. Wet and cold day but still plenty to do. The mix between indoor and outdoor activities means you can warm up for a bit then go back out meaning kids don’t get too sad! Food was reasonable price for this type of facility and the girls loved it. Loads of activities for their age but also kids older too. One we will go to a lot as kids grow up.
Thank you for your visit and for leaving a message! We hope you had a brilliant time! That's great to hear that you enjoyed the outdoor and indoor areas - we love warming up playing in Dinomite Indoor Adventure Play after meeting all the dinos on Valley of the Dinosaurs! Thank you for trying the food at the Park, we are glad that you enjoyed it! Thank you for your lovely message, and we will see you for another ROARR-some adventure soon.

The website for Roar says it offers a fun day out and there are things to to if the weather is wet but why oh why have they not updated their website to say there is nothing to do undercover in these current Covid times?
We want to try and support businesses but after spending £60 on tickets and spending longer to travel here than the time we spent at ROAR all we feel is sad and ripped off.
We booked tickets for Saturday 8th May about 3 weeks before and had grandchildren excited about visiting, especially as they could not visit in 2020 for the birthday treat as promised. As the 8th of May approached the weather forecast looked worse and worse but ROAR do not offer refunds or allow you to change your tickets for another day. Clearly all they are interested in after being closed is taking money as fast as possible even if that leaves them with lots of unhappy customers who would never contemplate returning.
When we arrived we were sold some form of rain protection for £2.00 each, we had brought coats and wellies but extra rain protection is always welcome, frankly we would have been better wrapping ourselves in toilet paper, it would have absorbed more water and we could have looked like prehistoric mummies!
After one hour we were soaked through to our underwear, yes it was that wet, the children were cold and fractious and we still had a long drive home, so we had our picnic in the car and then drove home.
Whilst the owners may not wear masks and dress like pirates, I would have thought that to run a place like this, the intention is to give people a fun day out. Frankly Mr Goymour you should be ashamed treating customers this way, we feel thoroughly ripped off, it has been a long hard year for all of us and we would have been returning customers but sadly that is no longer the case, we will find other attractions to spend our money at.

Dear TruthfulReview2015, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your honest feedback after your visit to ROARR! Dinosaur Adventure and we are sorry to hear that your experience did not live up to your expectations, due to the heavy rainfall. When you visited, we experienced some unfortunate circumstances in terms of the adverse weather conditions where we had heavy rainfall, combined with us still not being able to open our indoor attractions – due to us following the government COVID-19 roadmap – which are challenging times for us all. Of course, we would love for the sun to shine on our park every day, but sometimes we do experience rain – one thing which is beyond our control. Outside of COVID-19 times, we would have had many indoor spaces and attractions available to enjoy to escape the rainfall. Some guests who visited did embrace the conditions and made the best of it, sharing their videos and images on social media of hunting for our Dinosaurs or watching our Dippy Live Show for example. But we understand that all guests have their own perceptions/opinions of how to navigate adverse weather on the day. When guests book tickets on our website, we state in our Terms & Conditions, which are clearly visible. "Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure operates a policy of no refunds or exchanges for tickets booked online. Tickets are valid only for the date they are booked and cannot be transferred to another date. We cannot refund tickets for the reason of adverse weather conditions." In advance of your visit, our What’s On Today page provides information about which attractions are open (https://www.roarrdinosauradventure.co.uk/whats-on-today/) and also on your email confirmations, you receive a map which also details this information following purchase of tickets. We are counting down the days until we can re-open our indoor areas again and alleviate some of the experiences you faced during your visit. Dinomite Indoor Adventure Play will be opening its doors once again from May 17th. Dinomite Café however won’t be opening until the 29th May, but you can order a range of hot and cold snacks from Jurassic Snacks and are welcome to bring them inside to enjoy. The 17th May will also see the Animal Barns reopening as well as our Outside Animal Encounters and our indoor picnic areas. We pride ourselves on offering a ROARR-some full day out of adventure. But regrettably we cant control the weather and neither could we with offering indoor areas due to COVID-19 Guidance and the restrictions in place, except our gift shop which is only permitted to open at the moment. Once again, we thank you for your feedback. We hope this does not deter you from visiting you from the 17th May when the weather is hopefully brighter and indoor areas re-open. We travelled to the park today having not been since I was a child myself (now 28) and I was a little disappointed.
For a family of 4 it cost us around £70 to get in and once inside I feel this was slightly too much. A lot of the attractions were dated and the mini golf was a free for all with disgusting clubs and balls which I don’t think have seen a clean for years!
COVID wise I think they have done the best they can. Plenty of sanitizer, no queues for anything or food which was great.
There were queues for toilets but this was due to them not having all cubicles open which was a pain.
No real food options unless you want hot pre cooked food - pizza (Chicago town but £3 a slice?!) hot dog, bacon butty, fries or fish and chips. I just wanted a sandwich but no option for this at all.
Splash zone looked well managed and fun but we didn’t do that this.
I attended with a 3 and 12 year old, both were occupied enough for 4 hours which made it an expensive 4 hours!
Shop was pretty cheap considering most gift shops but the toys we got did break on the way home so I guess you get what you pay for!?

Probably won’t be coming back.

Dear Charley R, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review after your recent visit with us. We are of course saddened that you felt our park was very average and we apologise that you feel this way. We have over 20 dinosaur themed attractions for our guests to enjoy – including Predator High Ropes (installed in 2018), Dippy’s Splash Zone (2016), Dippy’s Raceway (new for Summer 2020) and Dippy Live (new shows for Summer 2020). But of course we will take your feedback on board. We have spent a lot of time to ensure our park is COVID safe, so we are glad you felt safe with us. We are sorry for any queues for the toilets, as you mentioned, this is partly due to some of the cubicles and sinks being blocked off to allow for social distancing. We are constantly reviewing our food options, and are operating a reduced and limited menu at the moment – as you may expect. We often receive feedback from guests who struggle to fit everything into one day, so we are surprised you only stayed for 4 hours. May we ask if you spoke or contacted the shop about any issues you had with your toys? We would have been happy to replace any toys which may have been faulty? Thank you again for your valued feedback and rest assured we will take it on board.

After viewing the website and seeing all the Covid Safety protocols in place we decided to book for 4 adults and 5 children the 27th August.

Arriving on site at 11:20am the car park is already 2/3rds full which was our first indicator they are not abiding by the lowered entrance numbers. Which is appalling considering how early we booked.

On entry there is a small bottle of antibac as the dispenser is empty.. The toilet queue was round to near the ticket area and again all sanitiser stations were empty.. Even the soaps were empty which is disgusting for such an early time in the morning.

There is lots of signage for social distancing but not so much for the one way system. There are also no staff to check any of the areas or clean apparently

We made it to Nautilus in the hopes of a hot drink or atleast somewhere to sit and eat the picnic we prepared... Again no luck! No seating.. no room on the grass without being in the way of the exit of the walled garden.. No way of getting a hot drink or food if your not prepared without a 45 minute wait due to ridiculously large queues. The toilets in this section were worse than the entrance with overflowing sanitary bins, No soap, No Anti-bac, No staff visible to inform other than the shop staff who can't move from their post!

I saw a reply to a comment here from the manager about 20 sanitising stations.. I'd like to know why they are blatantly full of WATER! It is not antibac of any sort as it pours freely from your dispensers like a tap. The bottles on top of the stations that have run out were also empty.. Upon telling a member of staff he replied we know and just walked off!

The walled garden again has no one way.. The common sense option to have you leave once you reached the end to avoid walking back through the line of other visitors is not an option.. Instead you have to battle against the flow of others and hope they let you out.

We cut our day short as it was not worth the hassle and by this point our afternoon had been thoroughly spoilt by rude staff and empty promises. Such a shame as other places in the area are doing so well with their new regulations!

We understand that these times are hard for companies but I wonder how this company managed to pass its assessment?!

Very disappointed adults and children! Will not be returning!

Dear Easterngirl , thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback after your visit. We are extremely sad to read your comments and that you could only award us one star rating – this is rare for us – even during these challenging times for us as a company. We are operating timed arrival slots to assist with social distancing in our admissions area and were running a reduced capacity during the Summer months. We of course investigated the comments in terms of the toilets and sanitiser station – and apologise for this. Sometimes, the automatic sanitiser station at the front of the park did run down, but our crew members would have quickly replenished this – hence why we have the pump station on top as well. We again apologise that you could not find somewhere to sit at the bottom area of our park and for the queues you experienced. The sanitiser stations are filled up with the neat solution, we are currently using Delphis Hand Sanitiser. This has a low viscosity and low odour, which allows it to dry quickly and not dry sticky. Our Secret Animal Garden has a one way system throughout – but of course we will take your comments and feedback on board. We have spent a lot of time to ensure our park is COVID safe and have recently been awarded the ‘We’re Good To Go’ mark from Visit England – to show we are adhering to government guidelines. But nonetheless, your feedback is valuable to us, and it will be shared with the directors to ensure we improve our park operation and experience.

We recently came to your park on the 1st august with a booking slot of 12 midday , we went straight over to book the splash zone ( our girls had their swim suits at the ready ) to unfortunately be told the first available slot was 4:30 pm , which was a little late but nether the less better than nothing . We were then told that the half past 4 slots had been cancelled , prior to this we paid full price for our just turned 3 year old who is roughly 94cm tall to get in , we figured full price meant full use .... absolutely not ! Riding cars with their dad was the only way , not big enough for the zip wire adventure , infact id love to know what she could actually do that an 89cm child couldnt , i have also read that your splash zone is included in the price ( this was not true for us ) looking forward to your response to address all of these issues , how disappointing

Hello Andy, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and your feedback after your recent visit with us. We are extremely saddened to see that you have only awarded us one star – this is extremely rare for us and goes against a lot of ROARR-some messages and feedback we have received lately. Nonetheless, we value your opinion and will ensure we learn from it and take your considerations and feedback on board. As you can expect, we are having to limit the number of people who can use Dippy’s Splash Zone at any given time – which is why the time slots have been introduced. Sometimes, due to exceptional demand (ie on hot days), the slots can be full – but this has been a rare occurrence for us. We are a little confused about the 4.30pm slot being cancelled – no slots are cancelled unless the attraction itself encounters a problem? Dippy’s Splash Zone is included in the price, as are all of our attractions which are currently open. Our park admission price, which has been in operation since last April, is based on the park experience and the enjoyment we can offer our guests. Sadly, we cannot currently open our Dinomite Indoor Play Area, which requires guests to be 90cm and over to enjoy our large slides. But of course, we will take your feedback on board as we strive to improve our park operation on a daily basis. We hope you can come back again soon and we can try and obtain a 5-star review then.

We love visiting Roarr, it is always a fun day out so we booked to visit Santa in the ‘jingle all the way experience’ and was sorely disappointed. The ‘elves’ and helpers did a great job, however the journey to see Santa was dark, creepy, dismal and extremely low budget. Considering it cost a family of 3 £50+ (We really just wanted to see Santa, we didn’t really want to do the park) we were really disappointed. To sum it up, Roarr is a brilliant Dinosaur park, and a terrible Christmas destination … try Thursford, Bressingham or your local garden centre instead.

Hi Jodie, thank you for taking the time to tell us about your latest trip to Roarr - we are pleased to hear you love visiting our park! We have only had positive reviews from our Christmas Grotto experience, and we are sorry to hear that you were disappointed, however we thank you for your feedback and will certainly take on board your comments. Went today 14th June 21 as a family with a 3 year old child .for the price we paid it was not worth it . And the one way system around the park was not being followed.
People were not wear face coverings in the inside areas. My husband suffers from very bad asthma .but he wore face covering to be safe .
son loves dinosaurs but was soon bored as there was not as many as we expected .the out side play ground was OK. He enjoyed the soft play area .
The food was over priced for what it was .one person on the till taking orders .People were reaching over the counter where you picked food up from to reach for salt, sauce ect ,again no face covering in the queue.
Will not be returning

Dear Lea Ludlow-young, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback after a recent visit. We are extremely saddened to receive a two star review, which is very rare for us and we apologise that your day did not live up to expectations. We feel we offer a ROARR-some family day out, with over 20 dinosaur themed attractions included in the price. These include Norfolk’s largest indoor adventure play area (Dinomite), East Anglia’s biggest outdoor water park (Dippy’s Splash Zone), the world’s first parallel sky rails (Predator High Ropes), our Brand New Attraction for 2021 Dippy’s Theatre and so much more. We have spent a lot of time to ensure our safety guidelines are meeting all of the government criteria in relation to guest and crew safety. Sometimes, with the best will in the world, you can implement all of these measures such as queue markers, dino socially distanced footprints, hand sanitisers, face covering signs, one way systems etc, but a lot does depend on the individuals who are visiting the park and their responsibility to stick to the safety guidelines. We will of course take on your feedback regarding the pricing of our food and till ordering protocol. Something we struggle to agree with when looking at others in our industry. Our team use prongs to provide sauces and sachets to eliminate touching so many surfaces and they sanitise their hands regularly between work carried out at the counter religiously. We will review all of the signage at the areas you mentioned and of course we will take your feedback on board. We are glad you enjoyed our outdoor adventure play area and indoor play too. In terms of our dinosaurs, we have 110 life-sized dinosaurs to discover and this is often the highest praise we receive – particularly for dino mad little ones. Absolutely agree re the review about the lack of signs. It was difficult to find our way around. As mentioned, the lack of staff manning certain areas shows a disregard for not only the much needed Covid regulations but also the ambience and atmosphere of the place. BUT by far the biggest disappointment was the food! We queued for a while to be told that there was only one cheese and onion baguette left. No other food at all. With a hungry 5yr old and 3 adults at 1pm our only option was to purchase it. On opening the wrapper we were shocked to see that it was burnt black underneath. Probably sitting there since the park opened. The filling was not only sparce but disgusting. I only wish I had the presence of mind to take a photo but went straight back. My money was refunded without question. I feel sorry for the hard working staff doing the best they could in difficult circumstances. There is no excuse for running out of food at that time. No excuse for the poor quality of what food was left. The entrance fee is enough to hope for higher standards which this park lacks. That is down to management. Very disappointing. It has a tired look and there is much room for improvement. On a positive note the dinosaur models are very good as are the grounds, hence the two stars given.

Hello 76HeatherB, thanks for your review - we appreciate every customer feedback and we will definitely take your comments on board for improvements. We apologise for your experience with the food - it is the first we have heard of a quality issue on these - but we are glad you received a refund. Speaking to the crew that day, they had set the amount of food correctly (based on expected numbers), but had higher than expected sales, which resulted in short term shortages while replacements were cooked. We will make sure this problem does not occur again. We hope you had a Roarr!-some time except these issues and we are glad you enjoyed our dinosaurs.

We visited in Tuesday and ended cutting our visit short. We've visited in the past and had such a great time so expected the same. However it was packed, you'd think with booking a time slot they were limiting the number of families visiting but it was a free frall. No one adhering to social distancing I can't tell you how many times people pushed past us on the trail, as for the play area we didn't even attempt to go near it.

Dear R H, thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback after your recent visit with us. We apologise that you left disappointed with your visit. We have spent a lot of time to ensure our park is COVID safe and have recently been awarded the ‘We’re Good To Go’ mark from Visit England – to show we are adhering to government guidelines. We have signage across the park, one way systems, arrival slots, time slots for attractions and dino footprints for guests to follow at key queuing areas. We also have over 20 hand sanitiser stations (one at every attraction) as well. We were operating at a reduced capacity during the Summer months – but of course we will take your feedback on board for next Summer – if we still happen to be in the same situation. We apologise for how your experience was with us. Thank you for your comments.

We visited on the 1st June, it was a gorgeously hot day and our 4 year old had a wonderful day. We booked a 10am slot to arrive, which meant he was able to get on things before the queues started building up. He loved the go karts and of course the Dino trail. We didn’t get to go in the Splash Park sadly- the slots were all booked up by the time we got there- I understand the need for booking but it might be a good idea to maybe allow people to book this online when ordering their ticket? Maybe with a refundable desposit to ensure you turn up for your slot or cancel in good time and it doesn’t go to waste?

As noted our son had a wonderful day, and we will no doubt be back again as he is Dino obsessed at the moment and had such a great time. The park is lovely and full of great ideas.

However as adults, I was disappointed with the lack of hand sanitiser available, considering the park had not long opened for the day. There were stands available but they were empty. At least 4 we tried were all out- the fossil digging area and Dino trail were the two I could remember. We also couldn’t see any available staff to tell.
I feel the dinos on the Dino trail could do with a little TLC too considering the ticket prices.

These are the only reasons I marked at 3 star, but for a nice day out with Dino loving children, they will certainly have a good time here 😊

Dear FlossyEms, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback after your recent adventure with us. We are glad you enjoyed our attractions and the weather was on your side – our Dinosaur Trail is always a popular hit with our guests – something we are famous for. We hope you spotted our huge Brachiosaurus as you made your way round! In relation to Dippy’s Splash Zone, booking is being offered on a first-come-first served basis at the attraction, on the day of your visit in busy periods. As much as we’d love our Dippy’s Splash Zone to be running at full capacity, it is important that we abide by the current Government’s Covid-19 guidelines, so we can keep our guests and crew safe and ensure social distancing is met. We apologise that you could not get a slot when you visited. We have explored the option of booking the splash zone while booking your park tickets and at the moment it is not currently possible to do so, with our ticketing system provider. We appreciate that you recognise that we are a park with ‘great ideas’ – we always to come up with immersive and innovative ways to connect with our dino explorers. All of our sanitisers are filled regularly and checked by our team frequently throughout the day. Unfortunately, the PIR sensor sanitizers are sensitive to bright sun light interfering with the return reading on the PIR sensor, so can sometimes take a little bit of time to function – but we have installed small little signs on the units to inform people of this. We will of course take on board your comment about our Dinosaur Trail – we have recently seen some improvements made to our dinosaurs via our scenic artist team and this will continue to happen. We once again appreciate your feedback and hope to see you again soon! Park Manager Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure

We went here sometime in 2019 before all the lockdown and Covid-19. My brother is mad obsessed with dinosaurs and he loves everything about them! We were staying at a hoilday park that was a little near this place. When we saw that it was a couple miles away, we hopped in the car and drove there.
When we first arrived we quickly had lunch. But when we saw the outside of the park it looked pretty organized. There was a car park outside with lots of spaces in and plenty room for lots or cars and people. There was also a massive sign saying dinosaur adventure at the entrance. When we first walked in it looked amazing. There was statues of dinosaurs everywhere and speakers which had dinosaur noices comming out of them. When we walked a bit further into the park there was dinosaurs that moved and swung its head around or opened its mouth and rawred. There is all different kinds of dinosaurs that are real life sized as you can see in the pictures of the park. Tons of stuff to do here including indoor play, things to drive around, waterpark, trails, anything.

Tons of stuff to do here and buy. Staff are friendly and helpful too. Definitely comming back after the Covid is gone!
