We stopped in here on recommendation of another winery and unfortunately found it to be a less than pleasant experience. The staff member pouring tastes seemed very uninterested in working with us, from telling us to “go read the descriptions on the wine racks” that were positioned throughout the tasting room to us having to ask him to pour our... Stone Faces was one of the wineries I visited while on vacation in the area. The tasting room here was casual and simple, the server friendly and fun, and choices of wine, minimal. I enjoyed the award- winning Cabernet Sauvignon so I bought a bottle.

Wine was interesting and you could taste for free. The server was a little off and didn't seem to know much about the area. Atmosphere was casual and laid back!

The folks at Stone Faces make real wine, not the cloyingly sweet fruit wines that other wineries in the area make. The staff are friendly and knowledgable, and the wines are very, very good. They DO have sweet wines if you like those, but the real stars of the show, for me, were the merlots, cabs, and blends. They were... More

We loved tasting their wines, and love some of the names such as 'Menopause Merlot', 'Lawrence Elk', and 'Buck Naked'. The day that we were there the owner was there behind the tasting bar. She was full of information about not only the winery but the area. Will stock up on more wine before we leave!

We really enjoyed this winery. The owner was serving & gave us a bit of info on each wine. We opted for a bottle of the Wild Grape Port, which was expensive, but we decided to splurge since this was the best port we ever tasted! We also bought a bottle of the vodka, which is made from grapes. It... More

We did a free wine tasting here and were very impressed. The staff was friendly and informative and the wines were delicious! Try the wine slushes and the jams, particularly the Ka-Pow!

This is not just a winery, they have mead too. Try the Buck Naked mead. My husband and I loved the mead. The wine/mead samples are free. The gift shop had free cracker samples with different toppings (i.e. jelly). Kids loved the snacks we bought. Prices are reasonable. A must see.
