A mind boggling and very corny place. Never the same. I can olnlyt guess that the mural makers ave as much time on their hands as corn has kernels.

The corn murals on the building change every year. This years theme is South Dakota weather. Inside it's a civic center where events are held. There is a movie to watch about how it came to be, and tons of photos on the walls documenting...More

You get what you pay for. The Mitchell HS Graduation was going on when we were there. Cool that Lawerence Welk once played there. Lots od pics of accordian musicians on the walls.

Was very disappointed and not what I had expected. A sports event center inside, pictures & murals, outside side of building is corn murals; nice but not worth the side trip from I-90

Went to visit corn museum. Had no idea it was a sports/concert arena. Lovely town with lovely people. Go Mitchell South Dakota!

I guess if you find yourself in the area, it maybe is something you should go see. Beyond that, I don’t understand the appeal. It’s more gimmick than offering anything of real interest.

Stopped on our way through town. Interesting displays but we were a little underwhelmed. Some decent photo opportunities around the facility. Glad admittance was free.

I had heard of the Corn Palace, but wasn't sure what it was! We saw a billboard while driving on I-90 and decided to take a look! The Corn Palace is a couple of miles away from the highway, but not difficult to find. The...More

The outside is the only thing the corn palace has to offer. It does host some decent concerts in the summer.
