Although my girlfriend and I are not religious people we decided to go check out Shilohs Tabernacle across the street from the corn palace for fun. Turned out we enjoyed it more than the palace! The owner/operator/builder Yankle or Yanke? Can't quite get the pronunciation down, was amazing! Super kind and hilarious. He also didn't think we would write a... More

My husband and I walked past going to the corn palace. But it caught my attention with the t-shirt displayed outside with religious sayings on them. I knew we were going to go I when we were done at the palace. Everything seems to close around 5pm except this awesome little shop. I found a hoodie that was pretty nice... More

My wife and I stopped in after visiting the Corn Palace (across the street). It is a wonderful place dedicated to explaining Christianity. We were very impressed with the knowledge of the gentleman running the shop/attraction. I highly recommend taking the time to stop here.

There are some whose role in this world is to plant thorns in the lives of others, and others' role is to be a medicine for the hearts that may be in need for. You seem to be part of the latest category, for we did really need your encouragement. Thank you, D. May the Lord listen to your prayers... More

Not knowing what "Valtiroty" is, we went in out of curiosity. We discovered the name is based on a combination of the names of three daughters of the founders. There is a model of the Tabernacle, a walk-through of life in ancient Israel, a large gift store, and an interactive section for young children.

We came for the corn palace and stayed for Valtiroty Shiloh's Tabernacle! We saw this from across the street and it looked interesting, so we went to check it out. What a cool place! It is like a little museum of the Biblical Tabernacle from the Old Testament. There is a cool jungle playground for kids and a souvenir shop... More

Thank you very much for taking time to say a few words about our place. But now I am jealous, since you said nice things about the lady but nothing about me.... LOL. Safe journey, our dear friends. More

Wow, what an amazing place. The front has many souvenirs and non-religious trinkets as well as wonderful (humorous) religious t-shirts, but the back of the store is where the magic is located. A very detailed and thought-out layout of locations and interactive displays take up about 800+ sq.ft. of the back of the store. Being an Atheist, I don't remember... More

Thank you. You are so kind. I had to smile when you wrote "being an Atheist." Your kindness is too divine to be atheistic... LOL. We may bot be brothers by belief, but we are by creation... LOL.... Again, thanks. If you are again in the area, I would love to put a face to this "Review." More

We met the Iancus the first year Valtiroty opened. They are talented, kind, and genuinely devoted to all this tabernacle represents. We learned, laughed and enjoyed our experience. This year we marveled at the expansion and refinefinment of the displays. Everyone will find something informative and pleasurable!

Came to see the Corn Palace and just happened upon this wonderful place. I enjoyed the exchange with the owner. I really enjoyed learning about the Old Testament and. It is well done and I will be going back.

We thought that it'd be an interesting stop, and that we could check it out. The Bible-Walk-Through was really well done, complete with artifacts from the Holy Land, and a nice gentleman to explain everything to us. However, we were overwhelmed in the gift shop, and they didn't seem to have anything worth purchasing.

Thank you for taking time to review our place. However, the comment, "we were overwhelmed in the gift shop, and they didn't seem to have anything worth purchasing," puzzles me, because the gift shop has a huge variety of things, some unique to us only, such as hand made "3D" picture of the tabernacle, "3D" picture of the corn palace,...
