We drove through with the intention of just having a relaxing drive, and we were right. The animals in the park were fun to watch, even though we drove through in mid-afternoon, and the heat had some of the animals just laying around, instead of...More

Our family loved Bear Country. So many different types of animals to see. Having them walk next the car was fun. Go early as the animals are more active especially on hot days. The snack was reasonably priced. Loved the baby bears. Gift shop was...More

The beginning animals were underwhelming, but the bears were fun to see and watch. As well, at the end, there is a place you can get out and view other animals and baby bears (the most fun to watch!). The bathrooms were all kept. It...More

I wasn't sure what to expect when I started. Immediately, I was blown away. The animals were everywhere and so close! The wolf chose to lay in the road making us drive around it and giving us an amazing look. I was really excited as...More

Our 4th visit since May 1 says it all! Different viewings have time. Get there early for more active animals. The gift shop is filled with unique items. Grandparents will live it. The bear Cubs put on quite a show. A DEFINITE MUST SEE while...More

A little pricey. Drive-thru and "cages" saddened us. The baby bear area was dirty and had an unpleasant smell. Lots of great things to do in the Black Hills. Don't waste your time, or money here.

We went today and loved every minute. It was incredible to see the animals up close and get to experience them. The only thing I wish was that we could have driven through again (other places around let you come back throughout your stay, this...More
