This is a must do attraction. It is such an unusual activity and just plain cool. Fun for everyone but I think it'd be difficult if you couldn't walk on your own power. Probably not for anyone under 7.

My husband and I and our daughter stopped by a our neighbors recommended the tour. It was from out of this world but, my husband felt sick during the old cabin part. Something here is trans normal or telepathic. We thought it was pretty cool but, felt a little off for a hour or so after

This place is great for the entire family, it keeps you moving and the kids get the ability to experience the amazement of the cosmos. The kids had fun seeing the oddities and being able to participate in the fun.

The bf brought me here, saying it was a bunch of optical illusions and nothing more. Once we started climbing up the very steep steps and went into the house, I had to leave. I have an inner ear issue, which plays with my vertigo, so I started getting sick. Almost throwing up sick. There was no warning about this,... More

Let's not pretend that there is anything weird going on here. it's just a crooked house with a number of optical illusions going on. Having said that, the guides seem to have their schtick down and you'll leave feeling entertained. They like to be tipped

OK so it is a manmade attraction in an area of stupendous natural beauty. Cosmos has been here for decades and enjoyed by all ages for all these years. That speaks volumes. A nice quirky stop on a South Dakota adventure.

Our tour guide mentioned several times how much she "hates this part of the tour" and we felt rushed through. It's a fun place to experience but they could improve on customer service.

Had a great time. The guide was well prepared and made it very interesting. The kids esp loved it because he let them try everything. Even if you aren't a believer,it is still a fun time

Fun and interesting for the whole family. Even skeptics will wonder what is happening here. Kids love it! The tour starts fast and is engaging from beginning. It's pricey. If you are prone to feeling motion sickness, you may experience it during tour. Don't be afraid to volunteer when asked, that's where the fun is! At the end of the... More

I remember going to Cosmos Mystery Area with my family when I was a kid 20 years ago (O.K. 30 years ago, but still) and being delighted by the sloping floors that didn't slope and the flat floors that were somehow tilted. So, when we took our kids to Mount Rushmore, I was sure to look it up, and was... More
