Our driver, Dave, was excellent. He drove, narrated, and answered questions. The stops were great too. The only negative was related to the staff at the Hayes place where we met our driver. The gentleman was a bit rude to the large group trying to...More

Breakfast and dinner.....not good. Lunch buffet was good. Tour was excellent and glad I didn't have to drive for the day. Driver/Tour Guide was very knowledgeable with a quirky sense of humor. Music was okay.....all in all, worth the money.

I do not believe the tours are available in March, weather not conducive. Mt. Rushmore open to visit. South Dakota weather could be very bad in March.

Why don't you call Mount Rushmore tours and see if you can hire one of their drivers? The Needles Highway has some very small tunnels to go through. An experienced driver would be a good idea.
