The downtown area has lots of little unique stores and looking at the Presidents is fun for the kids. While searching them out, make a stop at Main Street Square.

We filmed all the available President statues. The detail on each is super. Many restaurants downtown. Plenty of people so we felt safe. Free parking.

A lot of unique shops and some great statues. We stopped into the city a couple times in the evenings, so a lot of things were closed, I would have loved to have spent a day just exploring the downtown

The walk to find all the presidents is cool. The bronze statues are definitely not something you will see anywhere else. Neat shops and great places to eat.

I adore the hills, I call the black hills and badlands my happy place. Rapid City has such a cute downtown and so many places to walk from from the hotel I stay at!

Walking through downtown Rapid City was a wonderful experience. Many of the restored buildings held enticing shops and restaurants. Thursday nights in the summer there's a great celebration with live music, vendors and amazing sculptures on every corner.
