Stopped at Wall for two days on our family vacation. Wall Drug has changed a lot since I was here as a kid. Good time spending the afternoon walking around.

My husband remembered going to Wall Drug as a kid. He was excited to take his own kids on the way to The Badlands. They had so much fun looking at everything in the store and buying souvenirs. Make sure to get a donut--they were...More

Wall Drug is one part tourist trap, one part ice cream parlor, one part stretch after driving across flat South dakota and not to be missed for free water and 5 cent coffee.

Place had a great story of how it came to be. Attracts thousands of visitors each day into a very small town. Despite its self-claim to being a worldwide attraction, living in Canada and travelling throughout Europe I had never heard of it before. Perhaps...More

Tons of shops catering to tourists, some critters to pose with, a sprayground. Cafe was crazy busy with insane lines. We went to the grill across the street. The free water is terrible! Tastes like someone washed their hands with soap and put it in...More

Just a lot of tourist stuff. Was not impressed. Not the best use of your time. Time is better spent riding through The Badlands.

Was already in town for the national park. Ate at the cafe. Buffalo hot dog was great. Maple donuts also were great. Lots of shopping options. Whole stop with food was about 90 minutes.

We were headed to the Badlands so we had to stop and get our free water and buy a t-shirt. Yes, it's a tourist stop. Yes, it's a bit tacky but it's just one of those places if you find yourself on 90 in that...More

Basically right across the interstate. (7.6 miles or 11 minutes) The drive through the Badlands returns via the Interstate. It is a great drive.
