Beautiful Park, well taken care of. Great staff really relaxing. Wildlife all over the park, deer and turkeys all over. I recommend this park year round!

You need a National Park ticket to get in. The cabins we stayed at are very inexpensive. Around the cabins, they have a upright grill as well as a fire pit. They do not have bathrooms, however, the bathrooms are near by. There is a...More

This recreation area is about the best considering the area. Not a ton of interesting stuff to do here (except boating, biking, fishing, sitting in a chair or laying in the sun). Hiking trails are here but not too strenuous or scenic. Great spot for...More

We had a family reunion in the area. Several of the families got in online to rent a cabin. $40 a day! Nice, semi-secluded, great water view. Had beds for four people, 2 bunk beds. Electricity, air but no running water. A walk to the...More

Huge lake. Can float for hours. Beautiful sunsets. Not very crowded. Fun to boat west to the Mennonite colony and see them waiving at boaters.

Then, I decided not to pay for bad and uneditable dinners. Waiter and manager had to decide. Actually, we won't be back. They really need a chef and a cook without much business ends up with stale bad food. Not recommended.
