The only disparaging thing I could say is we did not give ourselves enough time for this adventure. Traveled from FL, seen a lot of underwater attractions, this one is unique. Visited while National Geographic's "Monster Fish " exhibit was there, spent an hour and a half there. No budget for the IMAX film, but on our to do list... More

The Tennessee Aquarium is constantly changing. It has grown significantly over the last 20 years. The animals are all healthy, happy, enriched, and well taken care of. This is a must do attraction - highly recommended. It is located in beautiful downtown Chattanooga where many fun and other engaging attractions are located. There are also several unique and fun stores... More

The Tennessee Aquarium Saturday December 3, 2016. Took the family and our 2-year-old granddaughter to the Tennessee Aquarium. Whether you are staying in Chattanooga or visiting for the day the Aquarium is very easy to find. If using GPS like we did, we got there very quickly on a very traffic - friendly Saturday morning. This Aquarium is first class... More

I have been to many aquariums. I go to them best I love them. This my far is the best one I have been to, to date. Not becasue the others are lacking, but because this one stepped up the game . The design & the exhibsits are a MUST SEE!

The Aquarium is very well thought out design. An esculator takes you to the top (4th Floor) and the rest is a easy slope down hill through the aquarium. My father could walk it and there are plenty of places to sit all throughout the aquarium. Many of the seats are right in front of the fish on display, so... More

We love visiting this Aquarium. It features a large fresh water section, in addition to the Ocean oriented exhibits. A great experience for those of all ages.

My wife and I went to Tennessee Aquarium recently while on vacation in area. The aquarium is better than expected. There are two different buildings - one for ocean and one for rivers. Both buildings are multiple stories. The selection of fish and animals is large. The buildings are well laid out and you get to see a lot of... More

Had a great time! They had a good bit of things to look at in the fresh water section. The salt water section was great too. Our only problem was we happen to come when a field trip was going on so it was hard in some areas to really see anything with all the children hovering around and not... More

We loved this aquarium. Beautiful location and spread out in different buildings. The Georgia Aquarium has a little more to offer by way of marine life (dolphin shows, beluga whales, etc) but always feels so crowded. We loved how spread out this aquarium was. Much less cramped and claustrophobic. Very nice and clean. Can come and go through the day,... More

I've been before, so I'm not sure why I didn't remember that there's not a tunnel you can walk under and feel like you're in the ocean. When I googled the aquarium, the internet suggested several pictures with the glass walk through tunnel. So, I was disappointed. Also, I was confused at first. There are 4 buildings that all make...
