Fun time looking back on it.

I'm not a big aquarium person. I do like to take in major attractions. This is Chattanooga's #1 tourist attraction. . I like the idea of starting high and walking down, both the fresh and salt water buildings have this feature. Lots of interesting exhibits to look at. Very serious on masks, can't even take them off to take a picture. Very serious about the environment. If i read the signs too much I would hate to even think about driving back and possibly adding the the trials of the endangered animals. I would just stay home. When the visit was over and I looked at my pictures, I realized that there were many enjoyable times in here.

Amazing aquarium
May 2021 • Couples
The Tennessee Aquarium is excellent. The price of admission is quite high at $35 a person, so you should consider whether you are someone who would enjoy a slow trip through an aquarium. If you are a zoo/aquarium/museum kind of person, then you must stop here on a visit to Chattanooga. Both buildings (the ocean and freshwater buildings) are formidable aquariums in their own right, but the ticket gets you into both. Freshwater animals are not always as visually striking as the saltwater ones, but the aquarium did a fantastic job of creating true-to-life exhibits to show off some of the freshwater diversity present in Tennessee and beyond. Many of the exhibits were truly impressive.

Great time! Clean and informative. Loved the turtle exhibit. Small crowds wear a mask enjoy! Buy something in the gift shop to help support them and all the animals.

Wow!

Really impressive aquarium, something I would expect to see in a much larger city. The large fish, the sharks - amazing to see. The atmosphere with dimmed lighting as you wind your way through the exhibits was very peaceful and enjoyable.

The entire setup was extremely well thought out, lots to see, but it didn't feel like too much walking, especially as we sat outside enjoying the weather for a break in between the 2 buildings.

Lovely to see, all of our ages enjoyed it, from 2 - 82.

Amazing aquarium

The Tennessee Aquarium has two enormous buildings, one about rivers and the other about oceans. We took the wise suggestion of the ticket seller and started at the river building. The ocean building is more spectacular, featuring penguins, lemurs and turtles. Just a first rate, fun, educational experience. Don't miss it!

Aquarium is okay. Aquariums can be found in many cities and they are all good, but I prefer to enjoy the landscape and sceneries. Having been to TN, why waste time indoors?

Great family entertainment

My family and I really enjoyed the aquarium. the staff was very polite and the place was well organized. it was easy to navigate the facility and find the presentations. This is by far the most complex and well run aquarium in the world and you can tell that the employees and operation really cares about what they are doing. My favorite was the large tank with the sharks and larger fish. The stingray exhibit was also very impressive. it is located downtown by the river in a beautiful location.
