Cool, not crowded - these conditions made for a very pleasurable visit - but I can imagine heat and crowds could make this overwhelming. Rock formations and the scenic overlook are impressive. Plenty of benches, available snacks and restrooms make this comfortable. The Fairyland statues, variety of vegetation, and history signs make it interesting. I had a wonderful three hours.

Point Park- is the best place to get a roundabout ish view from the top. Great place to take a stroll, look at the Moccasin Bend, and take in the beautiful view of Chattanooga. The Och museum is small but they do have some great historical bits in there. Parked at the visitor center for free, paid $5 per person... More

We visited Chattanooga this past summer and decided to purchase the triple play which included access to Rock City Gardens, Ruby Falls, and the inclined railway. We absolutely loved Rock City Gardens. Be sure to go early if you are going on a hot sunny day. This is also a walk through you do yourself without a tour guide so... More

So much beauty, and history, in this area. We stop here every time we go through Chatanooga. The view from the top is incredible, and there is plenty to do. Definitely worth the trip!

This whole area is so beautiful. You can certainly see there is a higher power at work from all the natural formations both inside and on top of the mountain. The view is quite amazing and you can see how amazing this earth really is from on top of the mountain.

This is a must see! The hike and falls are beautiful and it is self paced. Take the full walk as it is awesome. Once confronted with the two bridges the one to the right is more stable but they end up in the same place. Excellent time!

Lookout Mountain/Rock City is always such an awesome place to see any time of the year. From the caves to the top of the mountain where you can view Seven States it's mind blowing.
