So we are local to the area but this is something I had never done and now glad to say I have. The steepest railcar ride in the world! It is pretty amazing. We went during the week and it was a bit cloudy. Ideal...More

Road up the incline on a beautiful Fall day. The car had glass windows on the ceiling and sides. There is a gift shop and snack bar at the top. Great views of Chattanooga and surrounding areas.

We wouldn't have known about this place if wasn't for TripAdvisor. I'm so glad we went. What a great experience. Pretty cool riding the train. A little scared... No lines and beautiful views! Met some nice people. You need to try this, well worth it.

We had the option of driving to the top of Lookout Mountain or taking the Incline railway. It was a scary ride at times, but very safe.

We parked at the bottom for a $2 charge and bought our tickets. We were there at Monday lunchtime and there was no queue. Railway goes every half an hour and the ride takes 10 mins so it worked out well - we went up,...More

This is basically a few trolly cars hooked together that takes the rider to the top of the incline and back down again. Total of about 2 blocks each way. Not worth the ticket price. Unless you just want to ride ghis, don't waste your...More
