Diane was very knowledgeable of the teas and spices and also had a very good understanding of the medicinal properties of the teas. We were visiting lookout mountain and this was a great place to stop. Had a great discussion with Diane and she recommended the local bbq joint (Mission BBQ - Veteran owned), which was a solid recommendation.

I love tea and I love whiskey. The fact that I can get both in Chattanooga is amazing. This store... y’all, this store is where I get my tea from. If I can’t make it up here I get it shipped to me. The Earl Grey Creme is delicious when you’re in the mood for a dessert, and their lapsang souchong is the best, smokiest tea I’ve ever found in this part of the country. But they’re not just tea! They’ve got all kinds of amazingly unique sugars like their espresso sugar or the blueberry sugar they had today. Plus they sell salts and spices that are absolutely one of a kind. Calvin T. was very helpful in preparing my tea at the tea bar and in filling my request for canisters of the Earl Grey Creme and Lapsang Souchong. This is always the highlight of my visit to Chattanooga.

Thinking of trying a new recipe that actually results in restaurant quality taste........how about darjeeling sweet potatoes made with darjeeling tea....who would have thought about that? Delicious in every way ...recipe on the website.... How about Korean barbecue ribs that turn out like the real deal.......the recipe uses Korean spice rub and Mango habanero sugar.....again that can be purchased at the awesome location in Chattanooga. Do you want your hard earned culinary efforts to have a newfound restaurant quality? Then I suggest you try some of these recipes utilizing the spices from the spice and tea exchange. i promise you, they will change the way you cook forever and I've been cooking for a very long time! Full disclosure: I was not asked to write this review. I just discovered this place and absolutely am convinced that these spices (and mixtures of such) have elevated the taste of my creations tenfold!!!

This was the first time any of my 4 adult family members visited this store and we were pleasantly surprised by the selection of spices and teas. We ended up buying gifts for friends who love to cook and no doubt we will be back. Diane was wonderful and we highly recommend this establishment.
