This was a night time paddle trip. I went with a large group to do the reflection riding 2 nights ago. I wanted to wait to write a review so that it would not be written based solely on my emotional state upon returning home. There was no information regarding the distance we would travel nor the pace in which... More

I want to thank Mrs. Noland for her review of our program. In order to better our visitor experience, Reflection Riding Arboretum & Nature Center will now require two staff members on each canoe trip so that nobody ever feels lost again. In addition, we will be sending out a letter with what everybody can expect and what they need... More

I want to focus my review on canoe rental because that was the purpose of our visit on a weekday. It was more expensive than I expected and it was difficult to get the canoes on and off the storage because they are heavy. But the launches were very nice and it is a very peaceful area to rent canoes.... More

Great walking (dogs on leash) and sign stories and pond and general all around nature. The trees are marked, so you can learn things while you travel along this wonderful farm. No facilities or water/food, so plan for that. Don't miss the Cherokee Eye, either. So wonderful, there at the base of Lookout Mountain.

You have to be a nature lover to enjoy this place - but if you are it is beautiful and peaceful. There is a treehouse, a small zoo-type wildlife area, and canoes - as well as horse drawn carriage rides. The trails are well maintained and easy to follow. There are lots of narratives for Native American history and civil... More

Beautiful self paced drive and scenic photo ops near Raccoon and Lookout mountains. Kind and helpful staff. Good for the whole family.

I first visited Reflections Riding in the early 70s. It was quiet and beautiful then; it's quiet and beautiful now. RR is a park to take a stroll in, a glade to relax and watch the leaves fall in autumn and flowers bud in the spring. Take a bottle of wine and a pretty girl. It worked in 1973 and... More

Great place for a school field trip. Call ahead and they will prepare lessons and activities for the kids. The hike up the base of Lookout Mtn was unexpected but still enjoyable.

I enjoy that you can spend as long as you want walking through the forrest and enjoying the wildlife. I feel it is a bit expensive, but the area is very clean and safe. I usually walk alone to reflect, when things get crazy at home or work.
