Nicely maintained bridge for pedestrians only. Although we did see some bikes and joggers too. Great views, the air is crisp and the walk seemed to be a little over a mile when you walk over and return to your destination. There are some shops on the one side, but most were closed for the season or hours. Nice walk... More

I study urban planning, and this is one of my favorite urban spaces ever. I felt safe walking through town to the bridge every night of the week. There were always people out and about, which meant a changing landscape. The city lights were beautiful at night, and the arts district near the bridge is a great stroll.

My family came here for vacation. This was such a nice and relaxing way to view the Tennessee River from Downtown Chattanooga. They have an indoor carousel in Coolidge Park right next to the bridge, also.

I walk on this bridge regularly, great view especially at sunset. The surrounding area is great, you can easily access Hunter Art Museum, Back Inn Cafe and restaurant, Rembrandt coffee House, Sculpture Garden and there are two Bed and Breakfast also that are great! On the North Shore , Coolidge Park, resturants and shopping and paddle boarding on the river.... More

We walked across the pedestrian bridge. Great views of the Tennessee River. Lots of friendly people in this city. I made some new friends.

Over the years I've spent a lot of time on this bridge goes from Downtown to the North shore. You can walk or even jog across this bridge it is a park also. Great place to view the beautiful Tennessee River and Downtown area.

When I first came to Chattanooga, my wife insisted that I go for a walk on this bridge. The view was spectacular and the walk was fun. It was very romantic.
