Never have I once had a bad walk across this bridge. It's a lovely bridge with absolutely beautiful views and it's a good location to go after a filling dinner.

Chattanooga is a beautiful city and the downtown is very nice. There was at no time we felt unsafe even walking across the bridge at night. its nice at night as all the apartments and buildings are lit up

We visited this bridge and it is so nice....Chattanooga has an excellent vision for saving structures like this...You can walk over the Tennessee River on a 19th century bridge with no admission and stunning views. One more point for Chattanooga~

I'm scared of heights but this bridge was wide enough that I felt totally safe walking across. It was beautiful and actually made me wish I lived there so I could jog across it everyday. There were plenty of people on it walking, jogging, biking,...More

Walked back and forth with family. Easy walk, nice view, and and you can get ice cream at the end (Ice Cream Show). Definitely recommend.

Walk the bridge. Good exercise and great views of both sides of the river and historic sites. Enjoy the restaurants on the north side and downtown area on the south.

I didn't get married there but the bridge is pretty wide. I think you'd just need to find out the dimensions of it and go from there.
