The Chattanooga Visitor Center provides Chattanooga visitors with up to date and accurate information on visiting Chattanooga. We used them a few times on our recent stay in Chattanooga and they were helpful each time, although some of their maps were hard to follow.

The Chattanooga Visitor Center provides brochures and potentially discounts for area attractions. The staff is very friendly, inviting and make you feel welcome. They should benchmark Visitor Centers in other tourist cities and step up their game a bit.

I think my experience was completely thrown off because they were in the process of moving from their temporary location. The staff was nice enough and offered good advice. Regardless, it never hurts to check out the local visitor center on day 1.

Start your vacation here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of brochures and information available for the tourist. It's well located near the downtown area.

Permanent quarters are being remodeled, but no signs tell visitors where the center is temporarily in operation. Permanent signage on the streets is also very poor, sporadic, and in some cases misleading. Several police were asked and were unaware where the Visitor Center was located....More

While the Visitor Center is yet to open there were 2 representatives set up just outside the Aquarium who were amazing. Both gentlemen were knowledgeable, friendly and outgoing. Definitely good ambassadors for the Welcome Center.

Do a google search on “Chattanooga cruise in car show.” You might find one going on close to when you plan to visit. And check with the Coker Museum website: they sponsor one themselves every year.

Yes, there is. If you look at the Rock City site, you'll find some combo packages there. Also check the Chattanooga tourism website. I believe there are some there as well.
