The first stop of our trip and it did not disappoint. We drove 2 hours from gatlinburg to view this gem and it was well worth it. The view from the top of the falls was gorgeous. The hike down to the falls took about 10 minutes and was a little tricky with all the slippery rocks so definitely wear hiking shoes. There’s a small pool of water you can swim in at the bottom which is very cold yet refreshing. Take some time to relax on the boulders and take it all in! Get there early around 8 if you want to be the only ones there as we were.

Easy to access the top of the falls and not a bad hills to the bottom. Water was flowing even though it was the dry season. It was a beautiful setting with the stream leading to the falls and the fall color down the stream and beyond the overlook of the falls.

I took my dog to Ozone Falls while we were in the middle of a several hour drive. It was not far off of the interstate, which I appreciated immensely. There were several places to park, although they were pretty full when I was there. Once we got down to the falls, my dog and I just sat and appreciated the view. It was so incredible. Even though there were quite a few people there, we had lots of space to ourselves. We walked all the way around the falls, so it was fun to see it from all of the different angles. There were people swimming, and there were lots of families there. The path to and from the falls is not very long at all. It started raining while I was there, and I was surprised at how slippery and how much more difficult it got due to the rain. If it has rained recently or is scheduled to rain, I recommend taking that into consideration. I am an avid hiker but found it difficult to climb out when it was wet. Otherwise, I have absolutely no complaints. I love it here and will be coming back.

Our daughter had recommended the falls so we planned a day trip. It is only about four miles off of I-40 and easy to find. The walk to the top of the falls is an easy walk but not a lot to see from there. The path to the bottom is steep, rocky and difficult. However the hike is worth it as the falls are spectacular and this is still pretty much untouched nature. You can swim in the water at the base.

Short (but steep and rocky) hike down to the small pool and picturesque bottom of the falls. Great spot for a quick excursion to a magical scene hidden in the country. Loved it! Parking is tight on a weekend but we arrived at around 9:00 am on a Saturday and easily found a place.. just glad that we weren’t parking much after 10:00 am because that could be hit or miss.

Visited with wife and daughters while we were vacationing in the Crossville area. We wanted to enjoy a few nature experiences, so seeing the Ozone Falls sounds like an appropriate option. Parking spots are available at the side of the road, but there aren't very many and they aren't very clearly marked. We would have missed it if there weren't so many people already there...but we also had issues finding a place to park because there were so many people there.
The hike to the top of Ozone Falls is pretty straight forward and easy. Most anybody can hike around the stone ground without worrying about tripping or falling, although it may be more difficult if weather were rainy (i.e., potential to slip on wet rock). View from above is rather limited, since you can only see so much while trying to peer over the edge. Plus, there are no guardrails or other safety measures to keep somebody on the edge from going over the side. Safe enough if being cautious, but be mindful with little kids and pets.
Hike down to the bottom of Ozone Falls is less obvious and more difficult. You need to wind around and down the side of the grotto, but the actual path is not marked (or clearly marked at least). The trail itself has you climbing over rocks, which tend to be uneven and slippery in spots. Not too bad of a hike if you're in shape and have a good sense of balance, but it could be pretty rough for the little kids and the elderly.
View of the waterfall from the bottom is beautiful to see. Not the biggest or most scenic waterfall that I've ever seen, but the falls and the surrounding stone grotto were a pretty sight. Water pool at the bottom was big and deep enough for people to go swimming, although we didn't plan ahead to bring our own swim suits.

I unexpectedly had some free time in the late afternoon and happened upon this site by searching for things to do in the area. It was absolutely beautiful and so unexpected. It’s right off the main road and it kinda sneaks up on you. It didn’t take too long to explore, I was there for 30-45 mins and saw both the top and bottom of the falls. It was a little bit of tough terrain on the way down, but it wasn’t all that difficult and I am not by any means an experienced climber or anything.

Very pretty waterfall not far off I-40, only really good view requires a climb down some rocky terrain. Would not recommend for someone with handicap and should keep close eye on kids. Small parking area not terribly well marked so don't miss it

This is an awesome waterfall. But be warned there are no railings, guardrails or stairs. HOLD little children by the hand. You could literally walk right over the edge. It is an unprotected cliff. We did saw a young lady lay down with her head just over the edge for a photo while her husband held her legs. Scary. The top of the falls is awesome. The hike down is difficult but can be done IF YOU GO slow. It takes you about halfway down. If you want to go to the bottom and go behind the falls, it is hard but can be done. The view from the bottom is incredible. Plus this natural wonder is free.

This was a neat place to visit. The hike to the bottom wasn’t bad, just go slow and take your time. I visited the day after a bunch of rain so the falls were raging. I will definitely visit again once the weather gets nice.
