Cant wait to come back and spend time on this lake and to camp on this lake. There was many campgrounds around the lake offering Luxury camping and simple camping.

The lake was not as picturesque as I expected. The water was very low. The fishing was not very good so I think we may have come at an inopportune time.

This lake is gorgeous, and the water is great, you would think it would be cold coming off the mountains, but it feels great and is very clean. The scenery is breathtaking.

The water is a pretty light green color and appears to be deep in most spots. The mountains can be seen from many areas on the lake and that is awesome!

Drove around Douglas lake during a recent trip, absolutely beautiful. The old part of town is charming with old shops and quiet streets.

Lake was down in October and boating was limited. Heard others say everything goes in spring through fall.

I have not been there in April to know. I would contact the Tennessee Valley Authority and they should be able to answer your questions. Have a good trip
