Most Beautiful nature scene
Dec. 2019
I love going here and if you are coming through and stop please stop here. the nature is breath taking and beautiful, there are rivers alongside every walk, its clean safe and your pets are allowed and they have a dog park just for them and they can even bathe if they want. its so pretty and treails lead to everywhere - 180 acres of land to walk and the place is very safe it is family friendly

Great for all types of gatherings
Mar. 2019 • Family
We frequent the Greenway for the trails and dog park but the have also been using the conference facilities for birthday parties for a couple years now and it has been a huge hit. Very easy to use with plenty of tables and chairs and more than enough room for most groups. Then after your get together enjoy the park!

A lot of great walking areas
Jun. 2019
The trails around the main parking areas are a little less than exciting (boring) but going down to the quarry or along North Chick makes it worthwhile. Since so many people come here, also a great place to meet friends or even people who haven't been seen in a while! Great community area. Plus start a garden. Even canoe the very quiet waters of the North Chick.

Wonderful environment
Feb. 2019
I went during an afternoon and it was summer and it was hot outside. I found the guides quite informative about their organic gardening. Without hesitation I purchased produce and really enjoyed it at home whether cooking or eating raw like in a salad. The animals are juicy and fun to be with. A real gem in a back water town like Chattahootie!

Exercising Withoug Walking Around a BORING Track...
Jul. 2019 • Family
Some travelers like to keep up their exercises while vacationing or traveling out of town, the motel gym is functional; but it's NOT OUTSIDE! Greenway Farm is located on the North side of the Chickamauga Lake across Chickamauga Dam. It is easy to get to, has great parking (FREE of course), and is even pet friendly. Once you park there are several trails to follow that will challenge you to what level you might desire. The one I walked was 32 minutes out at a brisk pace--okay, I'm a short-legged fat guy--so MY pace may not be yours! However, the paths are wide and have gentle inclines, and most are by a stream and through wooded areas. As I did this in Summer there was no issue with bugs. One of the treats for me was seeing people out with their dogs and everyone speaks---this IS the South after all :-) . There are 4 trails depending out what you would like to do. The grounds also have a house with a deck that can be rented for reunions, a place to rent canoes, and if you have your own canoe, paddle board, etc. there is a place to park and easy entry into the creek. There are plenty of grassy areas to let kids run and play and of course picnic--there are also many places to acquire food for a picnic nearby. If you have tired of the road and 'sightseeing' in general, this is a good place to decompress and breath in some fresh air--at ZERO expense.

A nice walk
Aug. 2018 • Family
Beautiful walking paths, near a great dog park. Even a creek suited for fishing and canoeing. Also, as I understand you can get a small garden space.

Peaceful, well-kept park
Sep. 2018 • Solo
I visit this place 2-3 times per week, and I've been going there for over 20 years. It is close to my home, and it is very peaceful and quiet and the variety of trees is wonderful. Take the time to go back up the hill and over to the quarry and the trails back in that area. I have seen fox, lots of deer, and a few times a male and female scarlet tanager couple. It's really lovely and convenient.

Nice Park
Jun. 2018 • Couples
Nice dog park. Very nice hiking path. Good place to float a canoe or kayak in quiet water. Unfortunately there have been some issues with cars being broken into in the past.

Favorite Park
Jun. 2018 • Couples
I walk in this park every chance I get. It is beautiful and safe. It has lots of water to see and lots of different kinds of terrain. It even has a old log cabin where music is performed by a bonfire weekly in October.
