This is a beautiful house and fun to see. It only takes a short time. You can do it in 30 min or less. Look for discounted tickets. You will be disappointed if you pay very much to see this.

This place is great. The wood work is awesome. My kids like the fact that it was a Poke stop. LOL Very pleasant and cool history.

We had relatives visiting and took them to tour Glenmore Mansion. For $5 per person we received a one hour tour. The rooms for the most part were elegantly and historically displayed. The tour guide was very informative and answered all our questions. Some of the rooms were closed and some were a work in progress. It would have been... More

The woodwork in the house is amazing. I love the stair case and the high ceilings. The house is still being restored and anyone can become a member or volunteer.

This old historic mansion was wonderful to tour. It was deocrated beautifully for the Christmas season, complete with cookies and warm cider at the end of the tour. It is very interesting to see how the owners lived and traveled a long time ago, as one of the owners rode by train into Knoxville (he was a banker!) It's awesome... More

This four story mansion depicts life before electricity, running water, indoor plumbing, central heat and air, and low ceilings. There are four rooms on the first floor, plus a large entrance hall. There are four rooms on the second floor with a large hallway. The third floor is unfinished; the fourth floor is a room where the owner could look... More

First time for touring this grand old lady. It was also first time the society had docents dressed in period costumes. They were very knowledgeable about the mansion. It is beautiful. It is only open on weekends May through October.

I love our local historical mansion. It is absolutely beautiful inside and out. A few years ago, I planned a special family Christmas dinner there for my daughter's musical accomplishments. It was catered in their dining room. It was absolutely magical and one we will never forget. The main staircase in the main foyer is stunning and was used in... More
