This is a good one time visit opportunity to see things from our past heritage. There are special activities at times that may draw you back. A small cave on the property is a cool thing for a family with younger children to explore.

Nice piece of local history. Not an entire trip destination but interesting. I wasn't able to be there for the presentation. I'm sure that would have raised my review. Very friendly and informative hosts.

The site has a small but well-run organization, and boasts an impressive archives as well! This property has a number of standing early historic domestic and utilitarian farm structures. A rarely-seen slave cabin is present, and the main house is quite impressive for its time...More
