This is an incredibly beautiful park with miles of hiking trails. Be sure to plan the day beginning with the howling of the wolves. Most amazing sound you will hear & there's nothing like walking quietly in the woods and hearing them! Be sure to check out the snakes & the deer. The view from the tower will leave you... More

At least that's the way it looked as we watched the wolves wolfing down a deer in the wolf exhibit. There were other animals to see and a small zipline and a boatride and what have ya but for me, it's all about the wolves. Maybe it's cuz I'm a dog person, I don't know, but I could sit and... More

There's lots to do here. You can hike to the fire tower if you're adventurous...it's a moderate hike and I consider it strenuous to hike to the top of fire tower...but I'm not in the best shape , my husband does it a lot. You can also hike around the lake ...still a great hike . There are lots of... More

I've been an avid backpacker for years but if I don't have time for a big trip, I can quickly slip over to Bays Mountain for a nature fix. For only a $5 ticket into the park,... More

This has always been a favorite place to visit since childhood. I love the wolves the best but as an adult I am enjoying working my way through the miles and miles of hiking trails. It is so beautiful up here.

A wonderful place to be outdoors and have fun. I am not impressed with the guy in the planetarium, arrogant little person, but the park is great. It is worth the visit and I highly recommend the lakeside trail on your visit.

The drive to this park was a nice off of the beaten path ride. It was $5/car and has the potential of being a great place to spend the day especially with small children. It was quite disappointing though that most of the indoor and outdoor exhibits had no live animals or fish. The presentations and the barge ride only... More

I like coming here and seeing the animals. I would like to see more animals available. Kids seem to enjoy it.
