A visit to Knoxville isn't complete until one goes to the site of the 1982 World's Fair. The Mall is spacious and airy anchored at one end by the Foundry, an excellent wedding or event venue. At the opposite end there is small water front...More

Had a little time during our travels so stopped to take in the view from the sun sphere. Access to the observation deck is free and the view was fabulous. Observation deck provided lots of interesting facts as well and the park looks very nice...More

While it’s a bit small, the park is a gem in the midst of the city. Has a beautiful walkway around the water and then, of course, has the sunsphere that is free to take a ride to the top and see a great view...More

The park is beautiful and perfect to disconnect from the daily chaos and noise. It is a good way to do some light walking while relaxing

This is a nice little area in Knoxville to walk or jog around in. Went up in the Sunsphere to look out to the city and it was a good view, but nothing earth shattering. Still a nice stop while in town.

I didn't even remember that there was a World's Fair in Knoxville, so this was a fun surprise to find, but we were disappointed that the fountain wasn't running and the parking wasn't easy to find. We just had to park quickly in a loading...More

First stop down town sight seeing was the Sun Sphere! Was a great view of the UT campus and down town. Great information on the observation deck! Clean, but elevator was a little noisy/shaky and made the kids a bit nervous.

What a treat to see the beautiful city and country vistas from this World's Fair landmark. This attraction is free and has an elevator. A must see in Knoxville.

This gem was a nice little surprise on my stay in Knoxville! The tower allows free access to the observation deck which offers a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding city! Check it out, you won't be disappointed!

Yes, dogs are welcomed at the park. They may need to be on a leash if they like to run around a lot, but, if they stick with you, it should be okay to go without a leash.
